Data Centres

A2end manages applications services owns and operates three data centers; these are located in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne.  Each data center is engineered with extensive systems to address security and network redundancy.

Security
All data center operations personnel are background security checked and data center access is limited to data center personnel only. Access is  monitored and we employ access controls such as card key protocols, We employ 24x7x365 surveillance to ensure that your managed services are protected. We also employ fire suppression, redundant power feeds to ensure that data center operations continue uninterrupted in the unlikely case of power failures.

Environment
Our data centers (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) systems are N+1 redundant to ensure that - even in the event of an entire air conditioning failure - there is a duplicate system on standby to take over.  All cables to servers and routing equipment are securely tied down and cable racks suspended from the ceiling provide dual routes for all cables.

Conditioned Power
Power systems in A2end data centers are designed to run uninterrupted even in the unlikely event of a total power outage. All servers are fed with conditioned UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) power that will run if utility power fails. The UPS power subsystem is N+1 redundant with instantaneous failover in case the primary UPS fails.

Routing Equipment
We use enterprise-class routing equipment housed in its own secure, rack. Our fiber carriers enter the facilities at different points to minimise service failure, in the unlikely event of a fiber cut.

Systems Personnel
We employ a certified networking and security team with years of experience in managing and monitoring enterprise-level networks. Our certified network technicians are trained to meet our very high infrastructure availability requirements.
